A Waves of Health team returned to Dajabon to provide primary pharmacy and medical care from November 5 to 12, 2022. Approximately 800 patients were seen and provided several months of needed medicines. All children and women of child bearing age were given multivitamins. A Pediatric vision screening program was initiated. The HbAic program that tracks the effectiveness of Waves of Health’s care for Diabetic patients resumed. School supplies and toys that were collected by our volunteers were given to the local children. Baseball equipment, donated by the Cedar Grove varsity baseball team and Livingston Little league, was distributed to local children and baseball leagues. Shoes, clothing and sunglasses were also distributed.
