On Saturday February 27, 2010 a Waves of Health team returned to Dajabon, Dominican Republic to provide medical care to underserved communities.
Once again Tomas Metz and Dra. Eldemira Ventura were their hosts. With their valuable assistance, the Waves of Health team was able to see and treat hundreds of patients in three clinics and one nursing home.
Waves of Health went to Dajabon, Dominican Republic on March 1-8, 2008. In a partnership with local doctors, staff and the Metz family, the medical and pharmacy teams evaluated and treated patients in 3 clinics, 2 schools, and one work camp. Waves of Health was able to help approximately 1500 patients.
